At nodepick.ai(“Nodepick”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), we are committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we process and store it, and your rights regarding your personal data when you use our website, developer APIs, command-line interface (CLI), SDKs, and cloud compute infrastructure services.
2. Information We Collect
Account & Profile Data: When you register, we collect your email address, name, username, organization details, and authentication identifiers from federated identity providers (such as Google or GitHub).
Payment & Billing Details: We collect payment and billing contact details to process invoices. Payment card transactions are processed directly by Stripe. We store only tokenized references, card brand, last 4 digits, and expiration dates. We do not store raw card numbers on our infrastructure.
Operational & Telemetry Data: We collect system metrics necessary for infrastructure reliability and per-second metering, such as vCPU hours, RAM usage, storage allocation, bandwidth, IP access logs, API usage timestamps, and SSH key fingerprints.
Your Code & Compute Workload Privacy
We respect developer privacy. All applications, scripts, files, and workloads executed inside your Linux compute instances run in isolated environments. We do not inspect, log, or sell customer application data, nor do we use customer code or data to train artificial intelligence models.3. How We Use Information
- To provision, maintain, and manage your Linux VPS servers, virtual environments, and network assignments.
- To accurately meter compute resources and settle billing on a per-second basis.
- To send critical transactional notifications, invoices, security alerts, and service updates.
- To protect against fraud, malicious activity, DDoS attacks, and violations of our Acceptable Use Policy.
- To diagnose technical issues and optimize infrastructure performance.
4.Information Sharing & Subprocessors
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share information only with third-party service providers who assist us in operating our compute platform:
- Stripe: Payment processing, customer portal, and billing management.
- Supabase: Authentication services and account database infrastructure.
- Resend: Transactional email delivery and billing alerts.
- Cloudflare: DDoS protection, CDN, and bot mitigation via Turnstile.
5.Security & Virtualization Isolation
We employ strict industry-standard technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information:
- All web and API traffic is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS).
- Database records and sensitive tokens are encrypted at rest.
- Compute workloads run inside hardened virtualization boundaries to prevent cross-tenant access.
- Access to production infrastructure is restricted to authorized personnel using multi-factor authentication.
6.Data Retention & Permanent Deletion
We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account remains active or as required to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
Node Deletion: When you delete an active compute node via Dashboard, API, or CLI, all associated virtual machine disk storage is immediately and permanently destroyed from host nodes.
7.Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction (such as GDPR in Europe or CCPA/CPRA in California), you have rights regarding your personal data:
- Access & Portability: You may request a copy of your personal data and invoice history.
- Correction: You may update or correct account information in your dashboard profile.
- Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us.
8.Cookies & Analytics
We use essential cookies necessary for authentication and session management. We also use privacy-conscious analytics (Google Analytics 4) to understand general website traffic and improve user experience. You can manage or disable cookie preferences through your browser settings.
